Autumn is a wonderful time of year for horses. The crispness in the air gives them more energy to play. Galloping through the paddocks together.
As the leaves of the liquid amber trees change from green to red, orange and yellow, so too does my artistic inspirations. Every morning as I feed the horses my surroundings are a painting. I just had to do a painting of our beautiful girl Candy frolicking through the paddock with the beautiful Autumn colours surrounding her and reflecting on her body. I love to let the colours blend as they come together.
Controlling the direction of flow to enhance the features of the painting. The earthy colours of the dirt as it is stirred from galloping hooves and the autumn amber colours merging as a colourful backdrop.
