This charcoal art shows the pure joy and free spirit of a galloping horse. 
 
There is nothing more beautiful than when a horse gallops through a paddock. 
I love to capture the elegance and motion of a horse as it gallops in the moment of joy, enthusiasm and freedom.  The mane and tail swish like wings attempting to lift the horse into the air.  The gravel flicking from their hooves and leaving a cloud of dust that disperses with the breeze.  The muscular curves as they are enhanced with each movement.  
A horse is a very spiritual and intelligent animal.  They have a very special place in my heart which is why I love to use them in my artworks.  
I wanted to show the true majestic strength and independence of a horse with this piece.
